Hopeful helpers: Starwalker” fulfills last wishes!

There are two pleasing developments in Neustrelitz that touch the heart. First of all, the voluntary project “Star Wanderer”, which fulfills the last wishes of seriously ill people, was supported with an impressive 11,500 euros through a fundraising campaign by Raiffeisenbank Mecklenburger Seenplatte eG. These funds enable the project to organize trips to places of longing for people whose lifespan is limited by serious illnesses. These unforgettable excursions are accompanied by medical professionals and organized exclusively by dedicated volunteers who care intensively for those in need. But that's not all! Almost three months after it was founded, the German Foundation for Commitment and Volunteering began its work in Neustrelitz. The foundation supports projects to attract young talent, digitize club work and strengthen innovation in rural areas. Applications for funding can be submitted until the end of October, with a total of 23 million euros available for 2020.
