Mayor Ferdinand Vouk and fire brigade officer Markus Fantur highlighted the tireless work of the fire brigade colleagues, whose commitment not only saves lives, but also strengthens the sense of community in the village. Memory of Anton Koban
Interestingly, the name Anton Koban also carries a significant historical dimension. The commander shares his name with Anton Koban, a notable jurist who lived between 1875 and 1919. Koban was a professor of Austrian civil law at the University of Innsbruck and left an impressive legal legacy. His publications testify to a deep engagement with the law and are still relevant today, as is clear from the notes on biographies.ac.at can be found.
