Petra Hübner has been a pillar of the German Red Cross in the Uckermark Ost district association for over two decades. Her tireless efforts in disaster situations and her training in first aid have not only touched the lives of many people, but have also earned recognition from District Administrator Karina Dörk (CDU). She was recently honored with the Silver Medal of Honor in Civil Protection, a sign of her remarkable commitment. The award was originally supposed to be presented in September in Potsdam by the Minister of the Interior, but it took place at the last district council meeting before Christmas Uckermark courier reported.

"Petra Hübner is more than just a member of the Red Cross. She is a first aid trainer and a tireless helper," said Dörk, praising her achievements.
