Brass music festival in Ertl: A day full of tradition and community!

The Ertl Music Association celebrated “Brass Music Day” on June 1, 2025 and not only set musical highlights, but also strengthened the community. In bright sunshine and high spirits, numerous members and visitors took part in the festival, which began at 8 a.m. with a celebratory march to the church.

As part of the event, a wreath was laid at the war memorial to commemorate those who died. The ceremony was accompanied by a musical performance by the club. Afterwards, a field mass was held, which was also provided with music by a small cast of the music association, which underlined the solidarity between the members and the community. This form of community event is typical of the activities in many Austrian music clubs.

Diverse activities of the music clubs

For example, the new building yard was opened in Dimbach, which shows the association's commitment to the local community. There was also a concert music evaluation in Waidhofen/Thaya in which eight club groups took part, which underlines the high importance of musical quality.

As part of the diverse program, innovative events will also take place, such as “Tulln Modern” on May 16, 2025, which will present new approaches to brass music. The connection to tradition will be further strengthened by the construction of a new music center in Andau, which is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.

While the musical community in Ertl experienced unforgettable moments on “Brass Music Day”, it can be expected that this form of cultural encounter will continue to play a key role in the social life of the communities.
