60 years in the notary's office: Anneliese Reinthaler says goodbye!
Anneliese Reinthaler is leaving the Miesbach notary's office at the end of December 2024 after 60 years. Her impressive career began in 1964 as a stenographer in the same notary's office. She had already completed her training as a legal assistant in 1963 with a grade of “very good” and passed the inspector’s examination in 1970. This meant she took on more responsible tasks, including drafting documents, sales contracts, transfers and donations.
During her long career, Reinthaler witnessed many technological changes, such as the introduction of the first copier and computer. The documents, which lasted four to five pages in the 1960s, have now grown to 10 to 15 pages. Even after the birth of her three children, Reinthaler worked part-time and remained loyal to the notary's office. In the last eight years her work has focused on club matters.
Planning for the future
Reinthaler has traveled extensively, including to China, Vietnam and Hawaii. She is now planning trips to Australia, Singapore and Indonesia for her retirement. In addition to her three grandchildren, she enjoys hobbies such as gymnastics, sheepskin and skat. However, it is difficult for her to say goodbye to her colleagues.
The Miesbach notary also has current practices in customer communication. How guide.in.ua reported that the notary's office only answers initial appointment requests after customer data has been submitted in writing. This transmission is interpreted as an order, whereby the billing takes place according to the notary fee table, even if the appointment ultimately does not take place. Critical comments on the practice of the notary's office with regard to transparency and dealing with customers were made, highlighting differences in the way notaries interact with each other. It is recommended to choose a notary office that acts decently and transparently. In Germany, notarizations can be carried out by any of the approximately 1,500 notary offices, which suggests a comparison of the individual notary offices and their reviews.
