Christmas miracle in Halle: Eight babies ensure the event of a festive day!
In the Christmas days, eight babies were born at the University Medical Center Halle, including seven boys and a girl. The Kreideweiß family from Halle welcomed her son Louis on Christmas Eve at 10:40 p.m. Prof. Dr. Stephanie Wallwiener, provisional director of the university clinic and polyclinic for obstetrics and prenatal medicine, was grateful for the births at Christmas and wished the families a healthy and happy first year together. To celebrate the birth, the families received a surprise, consisting of a nursing pillow, care utensils and a handmade gift set, which included panties, hats and a cherry stone pillow. Midwife Carolin reported that it is a tradition to keep sewing evenings before Christmas to give the families a lasting memory, such as Hallanzeiger.de describes.
A similar incident occurred on Christmas Day 1 when the Patel family gave birth to their son Akshar at 0:31 a.m. On the three Christmas holidays (24 to 26 December 2022), a total of ten children were born at the University Medical Center Halle, including four girls and six boys. Nicole Rostalski, nursing area management of the university clinic and polyclinic for obstetrics and prenatal medicine, was positive about the Christmas babies. The newly baked parents and their newborns also received special surprises as a greeting, including chic panties, hats and little socks. Sewing evenings have been taking place for six years, where obstetrics workers and volunteers (the so -called sewing gears) produce the welcome gifts together with midwives and volunteers. These gifts are intended to remind the families of their first Christmas and the University Hospital Halle, such as Umh.de reports.
