New mobility concept for Urfahr West: Less traffic, more quality of life!

In Linz, the new Danube Valley Bridge ensures clearly noticeable changes in the flow of traffic. According to a current traffic count of the state of Upper Austria, the numbers on the heavily loaded Nibelungen Bridge were reduced by up to 7,000 vehicles per day within just one week. This was announced on December 19, 2024 at a city council meeting of Vice Mayor Martin Hajart (ÖVP). The decline can be traced back to the opening of the bridge, which was released on November 15, 2024 for motorized private transport.
