Pader highlights: Elite tournament in Hagenbrunn attracts top players!

PADELZONE Hagenbrunn, Österreich - on April 12th and 13th, 2025 takes place in the Padelon Hagenbrunn Apu Elite Tour Powered by Medivital Healthcare. At this tournament, Austria's best players compete to compete in exciting matches. With a total of 32 men's and 16 women's teams, the event not only promises high-class sport, but also a great atmosphere.

The participants expect an exciting tournament with prize money of 2,000 euros and main prices from Medivital Healthcare. The favorites in the Herrenfeld include Moritz Eiersebner, number 2 on the APU ranking, and Markus Krocker, who is in 10th place. They meet Kristopher Sotiriu and Dominik Bierent, among others, who are currently listed in ranks 50 or 104.

Moritz Eiersebner was able to win the first elite tournament in Seefeld with partner Bogdan Levchuk in 2025 and comes to Hagenbrunn with a lot of confidence. Sotiriu demonstrated his skills against the professionals Javier Rico and Leandro Augsburger at the Vienna Padel Open 2023 and is considered the title as a hot contender.

The favorites Barbara Prenner, the current No. 1, and Anna Schmid, who are in second place, are for women. The event is supported by Christian Ludwig, President of the Austrian Padel Union, who highlights the successful season and the numerous qualifications for the Padel community.

The Apu Elite Tour is not only an opportunity for national talents to present themselves, but also an important step towards the highly doped Austrian Padel Masters 2024. For this tournament, around 100 qualification tournaments are already planned that will let the best eight teams compete against each other in Vienna. The tournament mode comprises two groups of four, subsequent semi-finals and a grand finale for trophies and prize money of 10,000 euros.
