On Friday, January 10, 2025, the 39th New Year's workshop takes place in the Stellwerk youth center in Bad Zwischenahn. At this event, which will be organized for the 39th time, five bands from the region appear. The event will offer a capacity of around 250 guests, and the admission price is 10 euros. The New Year's workshop originally started as a three -day workshop for beginner bands, with the final concert being retained over the years. The aim of this event is to invite bands from the region to celebrate the new year together. This tradition has established itself over the years and attracts numerous music fans.
Similar events were also carried out in the Jugendzentrum Stellwerk in the past. In 2019 there was already the 36th New Year's workshop, which took place on January 4th. Six rock bands from the region presented their music. The organizers, led by Claus Meyer, have made the event a fixed size in the regional music scene for many years. The bands that occurred included "Brainwayve", "State of Evidence" and "Dune Gazer".
