Motor saw championship: Altendorfer winner inspires in the competition!
On March 13, 2025, 27 participants of the forest worker evening course at the Warth technical school met in the technology center of the warehouse Grimmenstein for an exciting forest work competition. The competitors had to demonstrate their skills in three categories - falling cup/felling section, precision cut and piercing - with the chainsaw. The atmosphere was characterized by motivation and concentration when the participants demonstrated their skill in the professional use of the chainsaw.
The highlight of the competition was the triumph by Mathias Grabner from Altendorf, who emerged as the winner. He prevailed against Stefan Hoffmann from Pitten, while Roman Haberl and Alexander Pinkl shared third place. Course instructor Karl Lobner emphasized the importance of practical training in forestry in order to minimize the risk of accidents through extensive training in felling and cutting techniques. He said: "In addition to personal protective equipment, a corresponding training and learning the necessary knowledge are essential for professional forest work."

The event took place in close cooperation with the Grimmenstein warehouse, which not only performed as a host, but also numerous prices for the winners.
