Alice in Wonderland: A magical open-air experience in Obernburg!
On January 11, 2025, it was announced that an open-air spectacle entitled "Alice in Wonderland" will be performed on Sunday, April 6, 2025. The event takes place in the Rosengarten of the Kochsmühle in Obernburg. The beginning of the performance is at 3:00 p.m., the admission is an hour before. The planned duration of the performance is about 90 minutes without a break. The script comes from Helmut Kulhanek, while Andrea Faggiano is responsible for directing and staging. Tones Unlimited, represented by Nina Kosel and Jörg Thamm, are responsible for the musical concept and the arrangements. Tickets are in advance at www.eventfrog.de and www.eventbrite.de available.
The performance tells the story of Alice, a brave little girl from Victorian England, who falls through a rabbit hole in a wonderland full of bizarre. The original work "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll first appeared in 1865 and has been fascinated by generations of children and adults since then. It continues to be reinterpreted, while Alice is experiencing paradoxical adventures and hits figures such as the grin cat, the crazy hatter and the heart queen.
a family experience
As part of the open-air acting, the staging of ballet director Radek Stopka is presented as a dance fairy tale for the whole family. The music comes from the Dresden composer Sven Helbig and includes sensually powerful chord sequences as well as forward -pushing rhythms that underline the fantastic elements of history.
This new production of "Alice in Wonderland" not only offers entertaining moments for the audience, but also serves to promote imagination and creativity that has embodied the work since its first publication, as State Operette reports.
