Family improper law: relatives of the missing girl sentenced to life!
Diyarbakir, Türkei - The tragedy around the eight -year -old girl Narin from Turkey shaked the whole country. After their presumable murder, their close relatives are now held responsible. A court in Diyarbakir sentenced the mother, brother and uncle of the girl to life in prison on Saturday. Narin was disappeared on August 21, and her body was only found after 19 days of intensive search in a sack in a river, just a kilometer from her home village. These cruel circumstances have triggered a wave of horror, which even extended to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who promised to personally pursue the case, such as Tagesspiegel.de reported.
The case around Narin raises numerous questions. While their relatives are the main suspects, a total of 24 people have been arrested. Among the suspects, the uncle and the mother are particularly suspicious, since DNA traces were found in the uncle's vehicle. The autopsy has already provided some information, but the exact cause of death and the time of death are still unclear. According to reports, the girl, who was reported missing on the day of her disappearance, was already dead. Her funeral took place in a neighboring village, but the parents were not allowed to participate due to their imprisonment. Prominent and women's rights organizations asked for justice and called for demonstrations to draw attention to the brutal circumstances, such as OE24.at reported.
The investigation continues while the nation is waiting for answers. Many people wonder how such a crime within a family could happen and why it took so long for the body to be found. While the pain about the loss of Narin is still fresh, the hope of justice remains in this gruesome case.
