Schruns choose new mayor: Who will shape the future?

The ÖVP faces a major challenge in Schruns: Martin Sadjak, the 33-year-old, currently head of the building office, was elected new top candidate. He wants to promote security and quality of life in the community by setting important services such as medical practices. In view of the success of the ÖVP in the last municipal election in 2020, in which she was able to conquer the absolute majority, Sadjak has the goal of defending this status. His opposite candidate, Jürgen Haller of "Metnand För Schru", criticizes the standstill in the community and demands rapid progress for long -awaited projects such as the renovation of the elementary school and the kindergarten. Haller suggests moving the administration to the "old court" to make room for school and even set up a public toilet. The anxious question remains: If one of the two candidates manages to win the voters for themselves in the upcoming election campaign, while the municipality is confronted with empty health insurers and unfinished infrastructure projects, so vorarlberg.orf !

Visit to the Schruns mountain rescue

Recently, the students of the Schruns elementary school had an educational excursion to the mountain rescue in Schruns-Schagguns. Class 1/2D was welcomed by local manager Rupert Pfefferkorn and technical director Leander Bitschnau, who presented the tasks and organization of the rescue organization to the children. The students were allowed to become active themselves and get to know different rescue devices. With the LVS device (avalanche search equipment) and by playing a realistic rescue scenario, the children were able to slip into the roles of doctors, patients and mountain rescue teams. The day ended exciting when the mountain rescue vehicles brought the children back to school and thus became an unforgettable experience, as Vol.at reported.
