Tirol's state budget 2025: List Fritz and FPÖ have hard criticism!

In the discussion about the Tyrolean State Budget 2025, a violent dispute between the political parties broke out. Club chairman Markus Sint from the Fritz list criticized the black-red state government and described the budget as "unhappy and without ideas". He calls it an "administrator budget", which in his opinion does not contain any structural reforms or innovative projects. Sint announced that his parliamentary group would bring 23 amendments to focus on specific priorities on topics such as childcare and care. Among other things, he called for additional expenses for free public transport and free childcare. He put this measure in the context of savings in other expenses, such as the marketing budget of the state and the Tyrolean state newspaper, which he described as superfluous, as was reported on tirol.orf.at

The Greens also critically commented on the budget. State spokesman Werner Mair complied with the lack of investments in housing subsidies and demanded an additional 35 million euros to renovate the house. In his opinion, there are also no means of nature conservation that have been promised for three years. In the 2025 budget planning, the black and red government expects income of 5.72 billion euros and expenses of over 6 billion euros. A zero deficit is planned for 2026, but the criticism of the financing of the minimum security continues. FPÖ club chairman Markus Abwerzger made it clear that the almost 80 million euros that are planned for this should not justify a "social hammock for workers who are entitled to work", which also draws attention to the social responsibility of the government, according to the reports on burgenland.orf.at .
