REHAMMER under pressure: FPÖ demands immediate resignation!

According to current reports,

FPÖ boss Herbert Kickl calls for an immediate stop of the current political negotiations in Austria after the talks between the parties ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos have failed. Kickl makes it clear that the responsibility for the failed coalition lies with the party leaders Karl Nehammer (ÖVP) and Andreas Babler (SPÖ). He criticized the political ambitions of these two because he believes that they cannot lead the country into a positive future. "The stop button has now been pressed," Kickl appealed on Facebook and thus emphasized the urgency of his demand, as was also reported by OE24.

Nehammer under pressure

The FPÖ sees the withdrawal of the NEOS from the coalition negotiations as the reason for the "overflowing of the barrel". Kickl emphasized that the freedoms had been warned of the so-called "losing ramps" for months and that this had been ignored by Nehammer. "Karl Nehammer was voted out by the people on September 29. He has not accepted it for over three months," criticized Kickl on Facebook. He not only calls for a statement by Nehammer, but also its resignation and underlines the economic problems that the country plagues. According to FPÖ, the Federal Chancellor is more busy defending his position than taking care of the population. Other FPÖ representatives, such as Udo Landbauer from Lower Austria, also followed these statements, whereby Landbauer expressly addressed the “immediate request for resignation” to Nehammer, as Rainews.it reported.

In addition, Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen is also criticized. Kickl and his party colleagues wonder whether van der Bellen has made a wrong decision to appoint Nehammer to form the government. According to them, the President should also take responsibility to fix the political instability that has shaped the current situation. The chaos and the uncertainty in the political landscape could therefore be a serious challenge for the government.
