Donauinselfest 2025: A festival of diversity and music for everyone!
Wien, Österreich - On June 21, 2025, the Donauinselfest , the largest open-air festival in Europe, the end. The last day of the festival offers a wide musical spectrum that ranges from pop and electronic to hits, rock to Wienerlied. Over 600 hours of program on 16 stages, visitors can expect more than 200 artists from a wide variety of genres on a 4.5 km long festival site.
Those artists include Aut of Orda, Esther Graf, the Rock the Island Contest winner Julia Steen as well as international acts such as Rag’n’bone Man and Beast in Black. The motto "Your island. Real moments." Set a special focus on democracy and social issues, on the occasion of several anniversaries: 80 years of republic, 70 years of state contract and 30 years of EU membership.
The diverse program
Festival Sunday inspires with a varied program that has something ready for every taste. Both local sizes and international stars appear on the stages. Highlights of Sundays include:

- Festbrühne: rag’n’bone man (19:50 - 20:50)
- Electronic Music Stage: Technotronic (8:00 p.m. - 21:00)
- Schlager Island: We 4 (19:30 - 20:40)
In addition, the younger festival visitors are offered a punch theater and exciting games on the Okidoki Kinderfreunde Stage. A graffiti workshop and offers such as Beer Pong and Yoga on the rock island complete the varied program. There is also a podcast stage that invites you to political and social discussion with various formats.
