Speyerer art cyclist shine in Alsace: four podium places conquered!

An exciting weekend for the RC Vorwärts speyer! In a competition in Alsace, the talented art cyclists conquered four podium places. After this "cool excursion" it is now full of vigor, while the training group has to struggle with queues in training.

The small “family trip” of the RC Vorwärts Speyer to Geipolsheim was a complete success! Carlo Roller triumphed with an impressive victory, while Lars and Madlene Berger took second place and Xenia Ivosevic secured third place. Trainer Sara Seidl raves about the valuable experiences that the four starters from France bring home. "Other countries, other customs, that just irritated us and it was very cool," said Seidl. The Speyer were surprised by the number of participating French clubs and even athletes from the Czech Republic.

Carlo Rollers big moment

The five -year -old Carlo Roller caused a sensation when he dusted a huge trophy in France! "It is his first big win, he made a best performance and drove the saddle-handle stand for the first time, he did it really well," cheers his proud mom. Lars Berger found the atmosphere exciting, especially because of the many spectators. However, he had to give up against the Frenchman Felix Lentz. Madlene Berger narrowly missed first place and was comforted by her mother.

The return to everyday life is imminent! The training begins again on Monday and the RC group has grown to 13 to 14 children and young people. "We could use a fourth circle quite well," says trainer Sandra Kotter. While the experienced art cyclists like Tim Kotter are making progress, new talents such as Tom Maurer, the grandson of trainer Elke Eichberger, also sniff into training. Preparations for the new season are in full swing and enthusiasm is noticeable!
