Spitzingsee, Deutschland - On January 1, 2025, an accident occurred in the Spitzingsee ski area in which a 39-year-old skier collapsed with a snowboarder. The incident occurred on the eastern slope, above the Osthang-Alm. The skier suffered a knee injury and received first aid through the mountain rescue service Spitzingsee.
The snowboarder left the scene of the accident without leaving his personal details or taking care of the injured woman. Two police mountain guides of the Raubling border police inspection took up the incident and initiated a search after the snowboarder, which was identified later than 32 years.
