On the night of January 9th, 2025 to January 10th, 2025 there was a break-in at a beverage store in Straubing. Unknown perpetrators broke into the building through a rear window and caused considerable damage. According to the Bavaria Police A safe anchored to the wall was torn out and pried open. A large amount of money was stolen from this.
The material damage is estimated at several thousand euros. The Straubing Criminal Police Inspectorate has taken over the investigation in this case and is asking for information. Witnesses who saw suspicious people or vehicles in the Alfred-Dick-Ring/Geltolfinger Rennweg area between 11:30 p.m. on Thursday and around 4 a.m. on Friday are asked to come forward.

As well as idowa.de reported that the unknown perpetrators were able to steal several thousand euros and probably entered the market through the rear window. The torn out and pried open safe was a central target of the break-in. The investigators from the Straubing Police Department rely on the public's help and ask that all relevant sightings be reported.
