Meanwhile, the mother and her son immediately alerted the police.
The quickly arriving police officers from Launsdorf and St. Veit an der Glan were able to temporarily arrest the 63-year-old at the scene. A temporary weapons ban was also imposed against him. He was then transferred to Klagenfurt Prison, which underlines the seriousness of the situation.
