Drunk pilot change: Motorists ram phone mast with excavator!

On Sunday morning, an unusual incident occurred in Freiamt (district of Emmendingen) when a 23-year-old was drunk with an excavator. According to ZVW.de initially drove a forest path with his car, but came from it for unknown reasons and got stuck in the mud.

In order to free his vehicle from the predicament, the young man set off to a nearby area where he discovered an excavator that was equipped with a plug -in ignition key. He started the excavator and drove over a meadow towards the street, whereby he killed a phone mast. It remains unclear whether he intended with the excavator to free his car or drive home. After the incident, the 23-year-old walked back to his car. The police then informed passers -by who met the clearly drunk man. The man was not injured, but the exact number of alcohol is not yet known.
