Steiermark, Österreich - The political landscape in Styria has drastically changed with the clear election victory of the FPÖ under Mario Kunasek on November 24th. The freedomers secured 35 percent of the votes, which corresponds to an impressive plus of 17.5 percentage points compared to the previous choice. In this context, the FPÖ announced that it would enter coalition negotiations with the ÖVP.
