A 51-year-old Viennese was flashed on the A2 in Carinthia with impressive 168 km/h. The permitted top speed on this section of the route is only 100 km/h. Another incident occurred in Steindorf am Ossiacher See, where a 20-year-old Villacher with his mother's car noticed during speed measurements. He drove 151 km/h in a zone in which the maximum speed is limited to 80 km/h. It was also displayed accordingly. These regulations are part of a nationwide catalog of fines for administrative offenses. The punishments are also sensitive in urban areas, whereby a one -month driving ban can be imposed from an exceeding of 26 km/h.
