On Saturday evening, October 19, the police in Vienna-Meidling were called for a serious incident when four young people were attacked by a group of strangers. The attack occurred around 9:30 p.m., while the young people - two girls and two boys at the age of 17 - were on their way from the Meidling train station towards Viveenotpark.
The Situation quickly escalated when the group of seven masked people who wore storm hoods who spoke to young people. In a threatening turn, one of the two boys was confronted with a knife, while the attackers attacked it with punches. This led to a minor injury, which, however, was not so serious that he had to use medical help; The emergency services were rejected by him several times.
