Students in Josefstadt donate blood - a sign of solidarity
In a remarkable campaign, over 80 students in Josefstadt showed that they are willing to make an important contribution to society: they donated blood. This event took place in the student home in Pfeilgasse 3a and was organized by the academic aid in cooperation with the Red Cross.
A total of 101 people took part in the blood donation campaign, with 84 of them successfully dismissing blood. It should be emphasized that about half of the donors took part in such an action for the first time. This underlines the increasing willingness of young people to actively do something good and take responsibility.
an integral part of student life
Alexander Preyer, the state manager of the Vienna Red Cross, praised the initiative of the students and emphasized that their willingness to donate blood is decisive support for the health system. "Blood donation saves life, and today the students are making an impressive sign here," he added. Such actions not only sensitize to the importance of donating blood, but also strengthen the sense of community among the students.
Overall, it can be seen that initiatives like this promote a positive influence on the student community and help to raise awareness of social challenges. While the students are committed to these important tasks, it shows how valuable their participation in such humanitarian actions for society is.
