Creepy highlights: Halloweenfest turns the Schlingermarkt!
On October 25th, the Schlingermarkt in Floridsdorf will be the setting for an exciting Halloween celebration. From 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., the market office organizes a colorful scary party that is aimed at both children and adults. This event promises to be the largest Halloween celebration on the left of the Danube and brings numerous attractions.
The entire market including the central square in front of the fountain is converted into a "sweet or sour" game zone. A special highlight is the ring game that makes the hearts of the carousel fans beat faster. In addition, small ghosts and creative ghosts can become active when designing spider monster and painting Hokkaido pumpkins. They are supported by “Ms. Hermi” from the market office and the “children's friends”, who also paint creepy faces.

The market stalls of course also contribute to the Halloween theme. Visitors can look forward to all kinds of sweets, cotton candy and even free popcorn - a tempting offer for all sweet tooth. For the particularly brave, there is the opportunity to explore the scary market cellar. Market aprons, market sack, sweets, pumpkins and many small surprises are waiting for the lucky ones. Andreas Kutheil, the director of the market office, emphasizes: "The Halloweenfest on the Schlingermarkt has already become a loving tradition. We are now organizing it for the third time, and the positive feedback from the population shows that we are on the right track with this festity."
