Susanna Hirschler: A life full of stage magic and courage
The world of theater is an exciting place full of challenges and triumph. Susanna Hirschler, an experienced actress, met Mauro Maloberti, also known as Mauro in the middle of it, to talk about her career and the facets of her life as an artist. Her journey started early when she was sure at the age of three that she wanted to become an actress. A passion for art and culture accompanied her through her childhood, and the desire to be on stage soon became her life mission.
The first steps in this way were not easy. After she applied to various drama schools and remained unsuccessful, she first tried to start studying law. But her heart pulled her back into the world of performing art, supported by her mother, who appreciated her talent. After intensive effort and persistence, she finally received commitments from three drama schools in Vienna and decided on the Conservatory of the City of Vienna.
The way to the stage
Hirschler experienced how doors opened during her four years at the conservatory. In the first year she was able to have the first appearances, which was supported by her singing lessons. This versatility helped her to express themselves in different art forms and paved the way for her career in the music theater, in musicals and operettas. After completing her training, she went to the Volkstheater as a guest player before moving to the city theater Ingolstadt for two and a half years to Germany. But life in Vienna was not exciting enough for her and she was looking for new horizons.at the age of twenty she moved to Berlin, where she went her own way as a freelancer. She toured Germany and Switzerland with a musical revue before returning to Vienna in 2003 to start her career again. This return was a special challenge because it had to start practically from zero. And it was a long way that brought both setbacks and small successes.
The development of a solo program with Chanson's famous Jewish artist, who are still very relevant despite the timelessness of their subjects, was particularly formative. Her commitment to the theater took off again, and gradually her career began to bloom, especially after she showed a remarkable performance in a talent show. This platform brought her to the attention of the audience, which she welcomed as a new favorite.Another important milestone was her participation in the show "Dancing Stars". There she was lucky enough to work with a talented dance partner. The chemistry between the two was right, and soon it was at the top of the public's favor. Her exciting time in the show was not only a personal victory, but also got her media attention.
role models and motto
Like many other artists, Hirschler also had her idols. They admired actresses like Elizabeth Taylor and Lana Turner, who were the epitome of the greatest female acting for them. Taylor, with her special charisma, was most remembered. Humor plays a central role in Hirschler's work. She firmly believes that it is one of the most difficult challenges for an actor to make others laugh and that humor is an important part of life.
For young talents she has a clear advice: it is essential to believe in itself, because every career has ups and downs. Even the most demanding professions require resilience and belief in one's own calling. Your personal motto reminds you how important it is to live intensively, to listen to your own heart and not to be influenced by the opinions of others. "Live intensely, but not headless!" she says. This wisdom reflects its continuing struggle and the joy of acting.
Today Susanna Hirschler is back on the stage of the Vindobona in Vienna. Appropriately, she shows her impressive skills again and brings a breath of fresh air into her new role. A versatile artist who has never lost her passion for the performing art encourages others to follow her dreams and not be discouraged by setbacks. Her story is an inspiring story about maintenance and the power of art.
