Teichtmeister: Court increases compensation to over 58,000 euros!

Florian Teichtmeister, the former castle actor, is now faced with a drastic judgment. The Vienna Higher Regional Court decided that it has to pay the Burgtheater a compensation of 58,725 euros, which is more than the triple of the originally set sum of 19,231 euros. This decision follows a more than six -month waiting time and concerns the case regarding its convicted abuse. According to the court, Teichtmeister was legally and culpably spoken, which is why the Burgtheater's appeal was justified to higher compensation, as reported.

However, the judicial disputes are not yet over. Teichtmeister could strive for an extraordinary revision, which could bring the case to the Supreme Court again. Until then, the 45-year-old must pay, among other things, for the costs of re-occupation samples, crisis communication and legal advice. After all, Teichtmeister was sentenced in September 2023 for possession and the production of over 76,000 depictions of abuse of two years, as reported.
