Rosary explains delay: FPÖ politician under pressure!
The National Council President Walter Rosenkranz (FPÖ) is currently exposed to massive allegations because the forwarding of three delivery request that affects his party colleagues has become criticized. According to information from krone.at , MPs Harald Stefan, Martin Graf and club director Norbert Nemeth are suspected of violating the prohibition law. The reason for the investigations by the public prosecutor is their participation in a funeral in which a song used by the SS was sung - however, the FPÖ emphasizes that it is a "historically unencumbered" version.
The Vienna public prosecutor's office had sent an application to the abolition of parliamentary immunity to rosary on November 20, which the parties only learned through media reports. According to von Rosenkranz, the delay of these desires was called "enlightened", but no specific reasons for the multi-day reluctance were mentioned. It was heard from the National Council President's office that hiding the request would also have little sense, since the mandatars would automatically lose their parliamentary immunity after eight weeks. Much of the criticism is also directed against the rosary with regard to a possible complaint for abuse of office, which has not yet been officially received.
The National Council's immunity committee will now deal with the delivery request. Despite the tense situation, there was initially no further consequences for rosary. The third National Council President Doris Bures (SPÖ) confirmed that Rosenkranz had declared and the situation was taken into account.
