This weekend gather in Lech ski athletes from all over the world for the legendary race "The White Ring". Participants from countries such as Australia, France, Great Britain, Italy and Canada want to face the challenge. The spectacle is rounded off with prominent guests such as the mayor of Lech, Gerhard Lucian, and the head of the Hotel Post, Kristl Moosbrugger. Former ski stars such as Patrick Ortlieb and the multiple winner Pepi Strobl are also there, as vorarlberg.ORF reported.
The race leads over an impressive 22 kilometer and comprises over 5,500 meters of altitude, which not only makes it a sporty competition, but also a real experience in the breathtaking landscape of the Arlberg.
