In the run -up to a significant change in Vorarlberg school sports, Susanne Summer from Götzis and Ferdl Sattler from Rankweil duly recognized recognition for their decades long contributions. The second key figure in this era was Susanne Summer, who, in addition to her teaching at the Middle School Mäder, played an outstanding role in the school league in volleyball. Every year she motivated up to four hundred girls at various events at the state and national level. Thanks to their commitment, volleyball in Vorarlberg experienced a remarkable upswing, and the representatives of the region have been favorite for many years. As the main organizer of several events, she not only convinced with her professional competence, but also with her passion for sport. Doris Gstrein started her successor as a volleyball state officer, which is supposed to secure a seamless transition.

The convincing work of Ferdl Sattler and Susanne Summer not only influenced school sports in Vorarlberg, but also inspired many young athletes.
