SV Toster looks at successful year: members and honors in focus

The annual general meeting of SV Toster took place in a lively framework, in which over 60 members came together. The chairman Josef Bayr opened the meeting and welcomed numerous guests of honor, including Mayor Manfred Rädler and the city representative Nathalie Koch. The presence of representatives of other ski clubs from Feldkirch was particularly gratifying.

Josef Bayr took the opportunity to look back on the past year of the club. He impressively represented how versatile the Schierein offer is in the region. In addition to the support of local associations, a varied sports program is offered throughout the year. In this context, sports manager Martin Lercher reported on the outstanding achievements of children and students and the FIS runners. A big thank you went to the Bergbahnen Brandnertal for their support and to the neighboring Schivereine, who worked closely during the season.

Change on the board

An important point on the agenda was the resignation of some board members. Anna-Maria Walser and Gerhard Keckeis put down their coaching positions, while Wilma Lins, as a hut lessor and Karin Leithner-Magalotti, also responsible for member administration, also made their functions. These changes were recognized by those present with a lot of gratitude and praising words. The association has already provided replacement: Katja Vernier will take over the hut rental, and Stefan Krobath will take care of the member administration.

In his speech, Mayor Manfred Rädler praised the valuable work that was done by the club members and especially the youth work. It is clearly noticeable that the community and the commitment of the SV Toster contribute a lot to a positive club development.

Another highlight of the meeting was the announcement of the next appointment: On November 9, the Schibasar will take place in the Toster elementary school. Here members and interested parties have the opportunity to find out more about upcoming winter sports activities.
