Jenbach's long night of museums: creativity meets tradition

The long night of the museums once again caused enthusiasm in Jenbach. Since the first event in 2003, the Jenbacher Museum actively participated in this cultural highlight. This year, however, there were two exciting surprises that the visitors captivated.

Among the many attractions was a specially designed handicraft station, which was led by Leo Simrath. The local artist and craftsman prepared creative workshops in which the participants were able to create their own works of art. Such interactive elements always contribute to the fact that the long night becomes an entertaining experience for young and old.

In addition to the handicraft station, the museum also offered various tours that unveiled stories and backgrounds to the exhibits. These tours were carried out by museum curators and volunteers who shared their knowledge and passion for local history. Such events contribute to promoting the cultural heritage of the region.

Another highlight was the opportunity to immerse yourself in the past in special exhibitions. Visitors had access to rarely shown collection pieces, which are usually not open to the public. This caused great interest and numerous questions among the guests.

The long night of the museums is not only an event for those interested in culture, but also an opportunity for the community to come together and to celebrate the variety of local art and history. This year has shown once again how important such events are for the preservation and promotion of cultural life in Jenbach.
