Boulder-Hall in Rankweil: Adventure for climbing fans on the opening day!

In Vorarlberg there are exciting news for climbing fans: On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Boulderhalle Steinblock in Rankweil celebrates its opening. The team is working hard to make the 800 square meter hall fit for the first visitors in good time. Managing Director Guntram Mattle and two athletes from the Vorarlberg climbing squad gave an exciting insight into the new premises, which not only offer more space, but are also equipped with innovative bouldering options and a kilterboard to bring technology and fitness to the next level. Johannes Hofherr, a squad athlete, describes the hall as a great enrichment for the region. The opening is celebrated with a large bouldering jam, music, meals and a raffle, while the first climbers can test the new challenges, such as Vol.at

But that's not all! Last Saturday the largest Boulderhalle Vorarlberg was opened in the Fischbach site in Dornbirn and it is a real paradise for climbing enthusiasts. With over 1200 square meters of bouldering area and an exceptional design of the climbing walls made of local frame layer, the new bouldering experience is a real highlight. The hall, which was created from the former high-bay warehouse of the Hämmerle textile works, offers a huge training area with kilter, moon and campus boards as well as an adventure children's area that offers space to play and celebrate. Managing Director Guntram Mattle emphasizes that this new location tripled the climbing and training range in Vorarlberg. The bouldering hall in Dornbirn is now open every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and regularly promises new bouldering routes and an extensive range of courses for all performance levels, such as Notice.
