On March 13, 2025, a sensational rear-end collision between two buses occurred in Bregenz, more precisely on the L190 towards the city center. According to reports from fireworld.at A 54-year-old bus driver was forced to slow down because of heavy traffic and stopped in front of a stop line to make room for an incoming car. Meanwhile, a 53-year-old driver of the rear bus was unable to stop in time and crashed into the front vehicle. Fortunately, the two bus drivers were uninjured, although two passengers in the rear bus were thrown forward in the impact.
The two slightly injured passengers were immediately taken to the LKH Bregenz for medical treatment. The damage to the buses was extensive and the rear bus even had to be towed away.
