In other municipalities, the sector is also required: in Lustenau the ÖVP candidate Patrick Riedl competes against Martin Fitz from the FPÖ. In Dornbirn, Julian Fässler (ÖVP) will compete against Markus Fäßler (SPÖ), while in Götzis Manfred Böhmwalder (ÖVP) and Christoph Längle (Götzis Citizens' Movement) will meet the voters. In Nenzing, too, the voters between Michael Hartmann (ÖVP) and Kornelia Spiß (FPÖ) have to choose, as orf Vorarlberg reported.

The elections have also caused strong reactions. Veronika Marte, club chairwoman of the ÖVP, sees the trend towards cross -party lists and personality as a decisive factor for the election result. In some communities, such as in Kleinwalsertal, the FPÖ was able to provide a new mayor, which according to Christof Bitschi, club chairman of the Vorarlberg Freedomers, is an "absolute success day" for which freedom. The Greens are also optimistic, especially after the defense of the mayor's office in Höchst with over 60 percent. Nevertheless, the SPÖ feels uncertainties, especially in Bludenz, where the party had to accept losses.
