On the evening of March 6, 2025, a fire broke out in a newly opened grocery store in Lustenau, which caused an alarm mood in the area. The police received the emergency call around 10:00 p.m. and immediately moved out. When they arrived, they discovered flames in the cash register area and in the adjacent bakery of the business. The relative of the managing director, who arrived at the scene shortly before the emergency services, had already opened the sliding door to give the firefighters access.
