Admira dominates the 2nd league: victory against Stripfing secures first place!

The Admira has catapulted itself to the top of the table of the 2nd league with an impressive 2-0 victory over Stripfing/Weiden and now overwintered with a three-point lead. In the Generali Arena, the two Scottish youngsters from Celtic Glasgow, Ben Summers and Matthew Anderson showed their class by scoring the goals in the 16th and 28th minute. This was already the seventh season for the Admira and confirms her dominance in the league. Bregenz remains in the neck of the Admira, after celebrating a strong 3-1 win against SV Horn before, with a remarkable comeback that secured her fifth winning streak.

In the relegation battle, the situation has also restructured: Voitsberg celebrated an unexpected 3-0 away win in Amstetten, which gives them more air in the fight against relegation. SV Lafnitz, on the other hand, now has to defend itself against relegation after they have lost 1-2 in Styrian duel against Voitsberg.
