The focus: ASVÖ promotes sports and volunteering!

The pre -Christmas magic and the exchange about current sporting developments are the focus of the last events of the sports associations. At a cozy meeting of the General Sports Association of Austria (ASVÖ), networking among the clubs was promoted. The President Conrad Miller looked back on numerous successful events such as family sports days and sports camps, including the newly launched "Aktion Volunteering", which was launched in 2024. Among the guests were Birgit Karner-Passler from the Premium Partner Bi-LED, who enjoyed the festive atmosphere and estimated the important initiatives of the ASVÖ, as the creation of a strong network for club work.

Another highlight was the trilateral meeting of leading representatives of the gymnastics associations from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. As the Deutsche Turner-Bund , this meeting took place on September 25th and 26th in the Munich Olympiapark, where the participants discussed central issues such as the FIG Congress and Violence Prevention in sports. Significant personalities such as DTB General Secretary Michaela Röhrbein and the President of the Austrian Association for Gymnastics, Friedrich Manseder, were present. The exchange also extended to the challenges that Corona pandemic brought with it, and possible solutions for the future of organized gymnastics.

The meeting offered a valuable opportunity to discuss future developments and the importance of cross -departmental cooperation. In addition, the preparations for the European Championships Munich 2022 were discussed, an event that is a highlight for everyone involved in the coming year.
