AT, Österreich - A devastating stroke of fate met the family of Michaela when her 39-year-old son Richard surprisingly died of acute pancreatitis. What started as a back pain developed into a dramatic hospital stay that ended in an artificial coma. "With such a young person, you don't think anything bad," said aunt Martina. Richard, who worked as a gas water installer, called on December 12th when the pain became unbearable. Unfortunately, on December 18, he died of the consequences of the disease. This tragedy hit the family, which was already struck, especially before Christmas, since Richard's father had died before and did not leave any funeral provision. For Michaela, who lives from a minimum pension due to half -sided paralysis, the funding of the funeral becomes enormous burden. "We need support," says Martina, since even with savings of 1,200 euros the costs cannot be covered. Having just 1,300 euros a month makes it impossible to pay additional installments.
