First nursing ball in the outside: a festival of recognition and joy

In the picturesque arena on Ehrenberg, a special event was recently held: the first nursing ball, which was specially organized for the employees and trainees of five nursing and health facilities in the outside. On a Saturday evening in November 2024, guests flocked together in festive clothing with shuttle buses from all parts of the district to experience an evening full of celebrations.

The opening of the ball took over Landtag President Sonja Ledl-Rossmann. She praised the tireless efforts of the nursing staff with the warm words: "You do very valuable work every day, enjoy the evening and celebrate!" This statement set the tone for the evening, which was not only a festival for the participants, but also a public recognition of the important role that takes on nursing staff in society.

The response to the ball was overwhelming, which was also due to the support of a total of 34 sponsors. These companies, both large and small, helped make the event inexpensively. In addition, over 200 raffle prices were made available, and the tension was great when the executives of the facilities at the loose sales stand announced their enthusiasm with the words "loosely sold out".

The guests were able to strengthen themselves at a delicious buffet, provided by the Storfwirt, before the dance floor opened. The band "Uncut" ensured a rousing atmosphere, and the spark quickly skipped to the dance floor, which was filled to the last place. The midnight insert was particularly highlight, in which Tanja Versal and Chris Green Musicalhits from productions such as "Elisabeth", "Cats" and "Mamma Mia" gave the best, which the atmosphere in the arena continued to heat. Until the last shuttle buses were taken at 2 a.m.
