Barrowing in Lienzer Discotheque: Two injuries when arrested
In a discotheque in Lienz, the early Sunday morning, November 17th, occurred a violent incident in which two men were injured. At around 5:00 a.m. the police were called after a 28-year-old Austrian had injured two other guests of the discotheque, also men, with punches. The reason for the dispute remains unclear.
While the officers were employed with the recording of the advertisement, a 27-year-old man, who initially recognized himself as a victim, grabbed the accused and also put a punch in the face. This unexpected conversation led the police to arrest the 27-year-old immediately.

When the incident, a 17-year-old Austrian, who also stated, reported to have been beaten by the 28-year-old, which led to a broken incisor. Due to the serious allegations, the accused was arrested again. But the 28-year-old made violent resistance and tried to escape the officials by attacking them with blows against hands and arms.
The police were able to successfully carry out the arrest despite these resistances. After they had finally been brought under control, both the 28-year-old and the two supposed victims were brought to the police commissioner Lienz.
Both men were treated outpatient due to their injuries in the Lienz district hospital. A 28-year-old's alcohol test was positively, which indicates his possible impairment during the incident. Interestingly, the officials remained unharmed, but some of their service utensils and uniforms were damaged.
