A dramatic incident occurred in the Thurnaler ski area in Tyrol when a nine -year -old skier lost control of his speed. The boy was on the red slopes with another boy (8 years old) when he got unexpectedly faster after the middle station and went into a shot. In the fall, the child crashed hard onto the slopes with the left half of the body and slipped into a fence. Immediate first aid was provided by other skiers, followed by primary care by the emergency services. A few days later, on August 24th, another adventurous accident occurred in the region. A 29-year-old mountain biker fell around 4:15 p.m. on the Alban Lakata Trail in Lienz and remained unconscious. Here, too, there were cyclists passing by who provided first aid. The injured cyclist was quickly flown to the district hospital in Lienz with an emergency helicopter after the rescue chain started. In this case too, the injuries were classified as an indefinite degree, such as Osttirol today.The Lienz police inspection has directed an appeal to possible witnesses in relation to the incident with the skier to report to clarity about the course of the accident.
