Another highlight of the funding is the regional economic program, which began in 2025, which in the next ten years provides two million euros annually for sustainable and innovative projects. A total of 20 million euros flow into the development of the Landeck district. The new initiative is based on the Tyrolean sustainability strategy and would like to strengthen the university location and promote interesting business models.

The projects range from a mobility concept in Prutz that improves the connection to public transport, to the conversion of street lamp to energy-saving LED technology. Together, these measures should increase the quality of life of the 44,000 residents of the district and at the same time secure jobs.
