Winter gondolas in Kufstein: Experience culinary delights and cosiness!

In the Kufstein city park, guests will experience a very special event from November 22nd to December 30th: the “Park Eleven” winter gondolas. These special gondolas invite up to six people to enjoy unforgettable moments in a cozy atmosphere. Whether for a relaxed evening with friends, a festive family dinner or a company party – enjoyment is very important here.

Stephan Mauracher, who is behind this concept, emphasizes that guests can expect an enchanting time. “Our gondolas offer a private setting to fully enjoy the culinary delights,” he explains. The focus is of course on the excellent food, which is prepared with love and dedication.

Culinary experience

The highlight of the evening is a three-course menu with a choice between various fondue classics. Guests can choose between Fondue Chinoise with chicken and highland beef or a variant with game from local hunting grounds. There is also a delicious cheese fondue made from high-quality hay milk cheese that comes from regional partners. Mauracher attaches great importance to sustainability and the regional origin of the ingredients. “We guarantee the highest quality and a special taste experience through fresh, regional products,” says Mauracher.

“Our meat comes directly from the Lindhof in Thiersee, where we attach great importance to animal welfare and species-appropriate husbandry,” he emphasizes.

As a starter, guests can look forward to a crispy bread setting with a lovingly prepared sausage or cheese platter, followed by a crisp salad. The highlight, however, remains the fondue, supplemented with various sauces, garlic bread, French fries and fresh vegetables. The sweet finale is pineapple carpaccio with vanilla ice cream.

Regionality in focus

Mauracher's philosophy is based on regionality, sustainability and authenticity. The 250-year-old Lindhof, which his family took over in 2016, plays a central role in his gastronomy concepts. “The Lindhof products are not only fresh, they also tell the story of our region,” explains Mauracher. Fruit trees, fresh vegetables and herbs thrive on the farm, while highland cattle, sheep and chickens are kept appropriately. This close connection to nature and the memories from his childhood shape Mauracher's vision for his restaurants.

With only 24 seats per evening, every evening in the winter gondolas is an exclusive experience. Guests can enjoy the event in a private setting, which makes the whole thing even more special. The gondolas are open Thursday through Sunday and space is limited, so early reservations are recommended. The organizer points out that the idea behind the winter gondolas came about during Mauracher's time in Switzerland.
