Christmas stars: How to meet local Christmas wishes from November 22nd

In the tranquil city of Rattenberg in the Kufstein district, the pre -Christmas period is not only a time of giving, but also of giving. The Rotary Club Rattenberg has launched an impressive campaign to meet the needy from the region.

From November 22nd, it will be possible to realize these wishes using Christmas stars. Numerous wishes have already been fulfilled in the past year, and in 2024 the Rotary Club continues this important tradition. A total of 200 wishes of those in need were collected in the area. These wishes range from toys to clothing to food vouchers and each have a value of around 50 euros.

This is how the action works

The wishes are written anonymously on decorative stars. Anyone who wants to give joy during this Christmas is welcome to participate in the campaign. Interested parties can choose one of the stars that acquire the gift on it, pack it and return them with the star by December 10 at the latest. The Rotary Club then assumes the responsibility that the gifts will arrive in good time with the recipients. This initiative not only aims to make others happy, but also to delight your own heart - the Rotarians are convinced that help makes you happy.

locations of the desired trees

The trees on which the Christmas stars hang are in different locations in the region, so many people have the opportunity to participate:

  • Rattenberg: Cafe Hacker and Sparkasse Rattenberg
  • Kramsach: Achen-Apotheke and library Kramsach
  • Brixlegg: St. Barbara pharmacy and Gasthof Herrenhaus
  • Reith i. A.: Gelis Ton & Dekoladerl and the Haslacher
  • Kundl: Michaelis pharmacy

This action is not only a wonderful opportunity for good things, but also a great opportunity to come together and help together as a community in the contemplative time. So if you want to bring a little joy to the lives of others, you will have the opportunity to do so from November 22nd. Further information on this project can be found at www.meinbezirk.at .
