700 kg of food for the needy: SPÖ campaign ensures hope
The SPÖ district party has once again organized a remarkable food donation campaign in the past few months. Over 700 kilograms of durable food and hygiene products came together, which were recently handed over to the Red Cross Kufstein and the Caritas Center Wörgl. This initiative is not only a sign of solidarity, but also the ongoing support for people in need.
Christian Kovacevic, the district chairman of the SPÖ, said: "After we have already successfully collected food over half a ton of food last winter, our goal was to repeat this action during the year." He was pleased that the community came together in such a generous way outside of Christmas. "Charity and solidarity are not only important for Christmas, but all year round!" He added.
commitment and gratitude
The recipient's reaction was overwhelming. Robert Egitz and Peter Zadrazil from the Tafel in Kufstein and Andrea Klapper from Caritas were enthusiastic about the generous donation. Rattles, head of the Caritas Center in Wörgl, said: "We have just moved into our new premises. It is fantastic that our warehouse is already filled with food for people in need!" These positive feedback reflects the commitment of the SPÖ, which offers both practical help and emotional support.
In the planning for the future, the SPÖ district organization has already determined that they are continued. A big thank you goes to all donors who made it possible to fill this initiative with life. "We are overwhelmed by the people's willingness to help in our district," concluded Kovacevic.
