Desired tree in Innsbruck: Christmas joy for people in need!
in Innsbruck, a very special desired tree shines at the Gutmann petrol station on Fürstenweg in the run-up to Christmas. This initiative, which was launched in cooperation with the social services of the Capuchins (SLW), brings festive joy to the hearts of the people that are not very easy in life. Clients from the SLW Innsbruck, the SLW youth welfare and the SLW Elisabethinum had the opportunity to express their Christmas wishes. These ranged from cuddly toys to cinema vouchers, as reported on meinzirk.at . The idea is unique that employees and customers can "pick" these wishes from the tree and thus give others a joy.
a tree full of wishes
On December 15, 2024, the last appointment was to give the gifts for the dream tree, and the response was overwhelming. A total of all 110 wishes could be fulfilled! Sara Eppacher, one of the desired fillers, announced her experiences: "It is wonderful to see how small gestures can do great." Caroline Pircher-Dornauer, HR manager at Gutmann, emphasized the matter close to the heart of this action and the positive reception among the employees. "By working with the SLW, we can prepare a little Christmas joy in difficult life situations," continued Pircher-Dornauer. This moving initiative shows how simple actions can transfer mountains, as well as Gutmann.cc determined.
The ceremonial handover of all gifts was the crowning glory of this joint campaign. Kristin Vavtar, managing director of the SLW, was enthusiastic about the generous gesture of the coexistence: "Such a nice idea! We are very happy about this generous gesture of the coexistence." With such moving stories, the light of Christmas is all the brighter into the hearts of people.
