Innsbruck, Österreich - The bankruptcy of the once billion -dollar Tyrolean real estate entrepreneur René Benko continues to result in considerable legal consequences. According to a report by orf tirol , the mass manager Andreas Grabenweger plans to check the founder rights at two significant private foundations. These foundations are the Laura Private Foundation based in Innsbruck and the INGBE Foundation in Vaduz. Grabenweger argues that Benko has always kept control of these foundations and that his mother, Ingeborg Benko, only acts as a "straw woman", which could potentially indicate "asset deviation".
A first public hearing will be scheduled for January 30, 2025 at the Innsbruck Regional Court, as . Grabenweger wants to ensure that the founder rights do not stay with Ingeborg Benko, but is entitled to him as insolvency administrators. These foundations are said to contain considerable assets with which the luxurious lifestyle of Benko is maintained. Litigation and first setbacks
