From November 22nd to 24th, 2023, the third Snowfest takes place in Innsbruck, which opens its goals in front of the Tyrolean Landestheater. Entry is free and visitors are invited to prepare for a weekend full of winter sports activities. The festival offers a lot of entertainment and opportunities to test their skills in different disciplines.
This year, guests can expect a special highlight: the Rock a Rail Tour 2024 stops in Innsbruck. This renowned event is a shop window for freestyle athletes from all over the world. The impressive scaffolding construction, which is 43 meters long, 17 meters wide and 7.5 meters high, promises an exciting experience for skiers and snowboarders.

Friday becomes particularly exciting when the snowboarders demonstrate their skills. Among the participants are well -known names such as Fridtjof "Fridge" Tischendorf from Norway, the Canadian Craig McMorris and Frank Jobin as well as the 2023 Rock a Rail winner Paula Benito from Spain. Talented drivers such as Fabian Fraidl and Selin Lakatha will also be represented from Austria.
Saturday belongs to the skiers, and last year's winner Olivia Asselin from Canada and Jesper Wjader from Sweden are ready to defend their title. Athletes like Ryan Stevenson from the USA and the Danes Ellen Damsgaard face them. The spectators can also look forward to Austria's hope, Matej Svancer and Lukas Müllauer. On Sunday there will be the open ramp, where adults and prospective freestyler have the opportunity to try out their skills on a easier setup.

For the youngsters, the Burton Riglet program is a safe way to take the first steps in snowboarding, under the supervision of experienced trainers.
In addition to the sporting activities, the focus is also on fun at Snowfest. The event offers numerous parties to relax after an exciting day. The "Snowfest Innsbruck after party" will take place on Friday and Saturday in the popular locations Jimmys and Blue Chip. But already on Thursday evening it starts with a warm-up party in Montagu.
